Howard has yet to beat a D-1 opponent this season. They have a Freshman Guard R.J. Cole averaging 20 ppg and a sophomore Wing Charles Williams averaging 17 ppg. Sounds like C.B. had somewhat of a Come to Jesus meeting with the guys after last nights game. Hopefully, they show what playing basketball for UNCW really means to them tonight.
I know at this point a win is a win, but I really hope we don’t “struggle” to win tonight.
I fed the kids and did the dishes early tonight so I could mindlessly stare at the stats slowly update on the screen.
This better pay off.
I also have a lot of cold beer in the fridge in the event it doesn't or does.

I don't care if we we're beating up on Claflin at this point. The guys need to feel a "W" and be able to get some confidence back.
Cacok is two boards shy of a double-double (10 pts), and playing zero fouls. Yep, you heard that right... no fouls. That's outstanding. Gary seems to be rewarding McGrath for the start with some confidence from deep going 2-3, and 8 pts himself at the half. Taylor is sparking the offense as well with 10 pts.
On the defensive side, it looks like improvement as the Seahawks have limited all but two opposing players to 2 pts. The Bison have a combined 28 pts from Williams (F) and Cole (G). Perhaps tighten the defense on them and make some of the other non-threats beat you?
Hawks should easily take this one by double digits if they perform well in the 2nd half.
