In advance of tomorrow's Blazer Almanac, here is a trivia question:

Name the NBA Hall of Fame basketball players that UAB has faced. Answer in the Almanac tomorrow morning.
Ralph Sampson, Charles Barkley... Kenyon Martin(?) - really doubt he's in the HoF though.. Penny Hardaway?

The only two I can think of off the top of my head.
Future HOFer Dwyane Wade
Future hof'er Blake griffin
Not futures. Already in.

And if Blake griffin gets in, they should lock the doors.
He will get in. He's put up monster numbers and multiple all star appearances and has been all NBA. The hurdle to get in the hof isn't that crazy really
Isiah Thomas, Charles Barkley, Dominique Wilkins, & Kenny "the Jet" Smith, Brad Daugherty & Larry Johnson ought to be.
Karl Malone. Clyde Drexler (question said "faced," not "played against").

Is Santa Clara's Steve Nash in the Hall?
Your answer is posted in the Blazer Almanac.

Isiah Thomas
Dominique Wilkins
Charles Barkley
Ralph Sampson.

Steve Nash is not yet a member.
We missed David Robinson by 1 year.
Ralph Sampson is in the NBA Hall of Fame?
Not sure about that.

What do you mean somehow? Despite his off the court persona, dude was a straight beast on the court. One of the best defensive players of his era and was an essential part of 5 different championship teams.

MVP awards ? None. He never finished higher than 10th.

Two, (count em) All Star Games.

Without Jordan & Pippen, Rodman is the same as Swen Nater or Dwight Howard or AC Green.

The ONLY reason he's in the hall is his off the court persona.
Rodman.......LOL Pretty sad when you have to let that clown in.

What about the two titles he won with Detroit? He is widely regarded by anyone who has ever followed pro basketball as one of the best defensive players to ever play the game and perhaps the greatest rebounder ever.
And he postponed war with a North Korea. That should get him in alone.

LOL. He averaged fewer points and rebounds on those teams than Bill Laimbeer. Maybe we should put John Salley in too because he is funny on TV . 01-wingedeagle

Have a good day with your flawed argument.
Guess I was thinking Naismith and NBA Hall of Fame were separate. Shows you how much I keep up with it. I always thought Sampson's NBA career was average but looking at his bio it was better than I remembered. After that one game in 82 I didn't really follow him.
Being a Rockets fan he was one of my favorites.
