I also saw that he was a 3 star, but he only had offers from North Texas, Jackson State and Toledo. That seems strange for a 3 star not to be getting offers from a major school until Memphis dropped in.
He's big, had good stats and he is an All Academic.

Very good size. Could be a monster in the middle. Run stuffer.
Brown has led the team in tackling for almost the whole season and has 81 total with 8.5 for loss, 4.5 sacks, three pass breakups and three quarterback hurries.
If he is a surefire run stopper, he's alright with me.
