I like that. No need to fret, worry or stress.
If he were to leave, I think it would have to be a HC position.

bingo. anything other than a HC job would be lateral or downgrade for a guy who's already the 2nd highest paid assistant coach in the nation and working for a school in their 3rd straight CFP.

Not to mention the fact that even in a worst case scenario of players leaving early he'll be returning 23 of 29 players off the Sugar Bowl defensive depth chart and is bringing in some of the best in the country, most being early enrollees, next season.
When Chad left there was no drop off. I suspect the same. Saban has had a bit of turnover as well hasn’t he?

Thus far every time Dabo has replace a coordinator it's been an upgrade.

Scott & Elliott (or Scelliot) are better than Morris who was better than Napier.

Venables is way better than Kevin Steele.

Back when Morris left for SMU Dabo kept saying that he had a plan. He had been grooming Scott & Elliott to replace The Chad for as long as The Chad had been there. I have faith that Dabo has a plan. If I were a betting man we'd see Marion Hobby return to Clemson for the third time.
