Smith played 8 MAC games and Ostman 6. If you look on what they accomplished game by game stats, Ostman's overall numbers are better. You really have to look at film to judge their impact on the outcome of the games. Btw, QB is one of the few positions that can change game outcome in all of sports.
Someone using single game stats to discredit a 1st Team All-American is about as stupid as I've seen on this message board
