I don't think Memphis would be able to afford BD. We would still be paying Tubby and having to pay a top new coach on top of that? Nope, don't see it. We are going to have to go after a very hungry, aggressive young coach that will start at a somewhat lower salary. UNLESS some big time booster stepped in and takes care of it.
Donovan would be a grand slam home run hire (similar to Calipari) and the Administration should perform their due diligence and contact him. However, it is an unlikely hire and fans should adjust their expectations accordingly.
