Play Ole Miss, Auburn, and Princeton before coming to Bartow on 12/30 for a Sunday afternoon game. Great opportunity for MTSU, who already had an RPI of 6, to get increase their at-large resume for the NCAA tourney. In addition, playing them will increase the conference RPI as the teams play them.
BTW it seems we always open against MTSU on Sunday afternoon during the Christmas holidays when students are away from campus. Is that indeed the case?
Not much subbing out either. 4 players with 30 minutes or more. Giddy Potts played all 40.
They are now 1-16 vs them in Nashville.

Because they are our mirror team, we alternate opening at home against them or opening on the road against them.
Amazing! Giddy Potts missed 11 shots plus 2 free throws. MT only made three 3-pointers.
The MVP of the game was MT’s Nick King (6-7 Sr.).
Of the three upcoming games, MT is only an underdog against Auburn.
Loyola-Illinois beat #5 Florida - 65-59
Not a CUSA game, but I thought it was impressive
Wow Florida have lost three in a row. Duke, Florida State and now LIU
CUSA has had a good night the last two days.
Vanderbilt does not look very good at all this year. I went to their home game against Radford, and they struggled pretty hard against them (down 12 late in the first half) for about 70% of the game.

The reason for the long minutes was that our starting point guard Tyrik Dixon hurt his knee in Monday's practice, so he didn't start, but was inserted for a few minutes in the first half and could not go, so the Raiders were without him, and we were without another guard, who is probably the most athletic, slashing guard, Antwain Johnson, who has a sprained ankle and according to Kermit is about 80%. So we were without a starter and our sixth man for the game.

Kermit has you guys in position to win 3 SEC games in a row in December. Considering who had to be replaced this season that's nothing short of incredible. Factor in the injury situation last night was one of his finest coaching nights.
