followed suit and sat out the bowl game?

http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2018/story/...-bowl-game

Should they, or shouldn't they ??
If you're going in the top twenty, you should consider sitting out. If you're playing at home, on ABC, against a team that beat two top 15 teams, you show out one last time.
No way anyone can keep Miller off the field in this one. #HesSoMemphis

I'm torn on this recent practice of sitting out bowl games, especially in the case of the Tigers this season. There's always a risk of injury whenever you take the field...the risk doesn't increase during bowl season. However, I certainly understand taking precautions. The only reason I would really like to see all of our seniors play is the fact that with a win they could set a school record for most wins in a season.

Not sure that's a good enough reason to counter the risks.

I'd sure take out a supplemental insurance policy beforehand.

I wouldn't go that far but it is a meaningless game...Coaches are skipping them across the country to get a bigger check so why would anyone look down on a player for doing the same.
Obviously I want to see Miller play one last time in a Tigers uniform. But I wouldn't blame him if he sat out.

He'll play, though. It's the way he's wired.

Well, if he were your son he probably wouldn't be able to do what he does. He'd be into huntin and fishin instead.

In real life or just on message boards?
You play to compete. I get it that some of you think the risks somehow magnify this last final game. But they don't. You say this game doesn't mean anything. It means as much as any and more than most. Not the score necessarily as fans. But the competition as an athlete. And that's how 99.9% of these guys think. They are where they are because they are confident, hard working, athletic competitors - not guys looking to do just enough to get paid.

Play the game.

As I don't know b in real life, this was intended as message board humor. If it fell short. Then, it's why I don't post much here any longer.

I think if Norvell had left, there might have been a greater possibility that either Miller or Ferguson skipped the bowl ... Avery will probably also be drafted, with Kuhn and Cook possible 3rd day picks ...
