Shouldn't this be considered an illegal benefit ?

And I'm going to leave this right here for Mr. Dudley. -

Illegal to us, not illegal to the P5 teams that enjoy the extra benefit from it.

The Coke Classic game wasn't a postseason bowl game, it was a regular season game held in a foreign country. Therefore, what Dudley said is accurate.

Sorry, nope, you're wrong.

Although the Bahamas Bowl is not the only the bowl game located off the mainland -- the Hawaii Bowl also shares that distinction -- it is the only game played in a foreign country besides the 1937 Bacardi Bowl in Havana, Cuba
Perhaps it was a poor wording, but I'm nearly certain he was talking specifically about bowl games. There's regular season games played in foreign countries nearly every year, I believe.
He is still incorrect with his statement though, because the international bowl was played in Toronto within the last 10 years or so.
