I agree. If Varnado is healthy this will be a tough game for UAB. Can't wait to watch it at Trojan Arena tomorrow.
ESPN 3 right?

Is he a game time decision?
If I knew our star player was going to show up I wouldn't be that worried.

Appears so. Haven't heard anything.
Haha has stated that he's not worried about points and rebounds, just blocks. So I guess he wants to do the dirty work and allow Cokley, Bryant, and Perry to do the scoring. While also allowing Darling and Norton shooting to help some. If he averages 9 points and 7 rebounds he would average what our star centers did before him.

Now he could easily average more points and less rebounds and his blocks help out. When some realize his role and the role of others you can sit back and enjoy the season. HaHa and Lew sets the tone as they do most of the dirty work. If HaHa feels the need to take over a game like Rob Brown he probably would do so.

was that said in a David Crane player of the game interview?

I heard that but I went into denial that I misheard what he said.

Wish he had felt the need to take over some of those games in the tournament

Speaking of Memphis I'm shocked more hasn't been made that we didn't score in the last seven minutes of the game. This is kinda alarming, somebody shouldve got to the charity stripe a few times.

UAB outscored Memphis, 13-11, in the final 7:18, including Scootie's drive for a dunk. UAB was 9 of 10 from the free throw line in that stretch.

I apologize must have heard it wrong.

Well I like Troy's make up of instate talent led by Person and Hicks. I think Hicks could be a potential problem, liked this kid since his hs days when he had a change of heart on Auburn.

Imagine what could be been had we inked Person instead of Calhoun in 2014. Not that I'm knocking Calhoun, he was a solid shooter in hs. But Lee,Cokley,Sullivan,Person, and Nick wouldve been a good fab five or whatever Haase called it.
