Any fans from north of Detroit heading down to the game? Trying to find out if Detroit area Alumni association is planning anything. If not, maybe car pool to share on parking and control a little better when to head back. Uber would be better. Would like the option of hanging around after the game and celebrating with a couple of "pops" after we win and not worry about driving home. I'm up in Rochester Hills, but meeting anywhere around Royal Oak, Troy, etc. would be good. Trying to find some non-UT fans to go down to Detroit.

NOTE: December 2nd is also NOEL NIGHT in Detroit. If you have not been to it, would be worth hanging around for. Really cool and a lot to do. It gets packed and usually the guys end up at a local watering hole to watch the Big 10 championship game which has been on the same night since they started the Big 10 divisions. Look it up on website: 45th year of NOEL NIGHT.

In the past I spent most of my time at the DIA, DSO and museums. For the women, there is shopping and the Center for Creative Arts has some really neat stuff to buy and all reasonably priced.

Nah, that really doesn't start until around 3pm. They could leave at halftime, the guys go across the street after the game to Hockeytown, Tap, Cheli's, etc.

would make it a lot harder to coordinate return time, but everyone could split up and take their own Uber back home when ready. Red Wings are playing that night in Detroit, so Cheli's will get packed later on. Big day in Detroit...

you're right. I read it wrong - they are in Montreal. Thought it would be strange to have Noel Night with a home game for hockey.
