Pirate fans, I am a fan of your former conference mate Southern Miss. I also hale from the city of Brandon MS. Your quarterback Minshew is also from Brandon. I remember him tearing up the state for four years in high school and propelling Brandon to heights they have never achieved before. For some reason he did not garner much interest coming out of high school but was likely the best player in the state that year. He signed with Troy and withdrew and went the JuCo route and then transferred to ECU. I saw this weekend he put up some KILLER stats against Cinci. Just curious, what does the fanbase think of him? I wish we would have gotten him... I think we would be alot better this year if he was playing at Southern Miss. Our starter has been riddled with injuries and the second string has had major turnover problems.
