Wow. Never trust when an 18 year old says he is going to wait until spring.
Robert WoodardII‏ @Raw2512 15m15 minutes ago

I would like to thank all of the college coaches who have shown interest in me as a student athlete. On tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. I will announce my college decision. Once again, thank you!

Interesting. We really need this to happen.

I know. And Woodard and his camp said they would wait. Just saying 18 year olds change their minds a lot. Lomax also indicated several times that he would not sign early.
Expected to be MSU. We made a huge push over the past week or so.
double post

Give Tubby a chance.
Really sad to see Memphis outrecruited by garbage programs like Miss State or to see us outclassed in talent by a school like Bama. We've fallen a loooooooooooooooooooong way.
It will not be Memphis as he would not announce for Memphis during our game.

It represents another strikeout for Tubby.
How many swings does he get?

asking for a friend.

Maybe he'll be at the game and announce it there.....?
No chance it will be Memphis. After seeing the debacle of the Alabama game, no way he decided to go ahead and sign early and choose Memphis.

It's hard to legggooooo of the possibility tho.
If we miss on all our "priority" targets, is there a reason to justify retaining the current staff? Other than the biggest one. Money.

I believe the other finalists besides Memphis are Mississippi State, Alabama and Ole Miss.

Both of Woodard's parents played at Miss State.

I don't believe his parents believe that Miss St is GARBAGE program!!!

The only thing they'll say is that they're confident with the players we have and we're getting. The Tubby lovers will talk about him "coaching 'em up". And they'll talk about how he overachieved on a 16-14 season.

But, yes... Given the two recruiting classes he's brought in (and the third one that could be just as bad), the mass exodus of players at the end of last season, and the results on the court, I think there would be plenty of justification to end this.

Oh I get the family connection. State still sucks as basketball.

If we don’t get Harris or Woodard, I would get rid of two assistants.

I still want to know who the Tubby lovers are.
