Last game of the season. 110% would be the best part of the season if we win. Massey has us as 20 point underdogs. Let’s get a win for the seniors.... but when was the last time a team went winless in CAA play? (didn’t mean to put the smiley face, so I wouldn’t mind if Tribal deleted it)
Elon went 1-11, 0-8 in league play in 2014. Albany went 1-11, 0-8 in 2013.
The last time a long time member went 0 for was back in 2012, when URI went 0-11, 0-8 in league play.
Any chance anyone is looking for tickets? For various reasons my family and I have 4 tickets we won't be using. Would be more than willing to part with them for 1/2 price ($20/per).

I am not sure that $10 is enough to pay someone to get them to attend this one.

Heh - fair point.

NC, I'm not a fairweather fan so team performance simply doesn't factor into whether or not I would attend a game.

WML, I'd take you up on it if I didn't have to work.

Family is coming to the game. Will PM you if we end up needing more than we have in hand. Some really impressive young men playing in the last football game of their careers. I can go, so I am going.
I have tickets and will be attending with my dad and uncle (both UR grads). Both teams playing for nothing more than the Capital Cup, and I'd love for the Tribe to go out on a positive note.
In related Richmond news, it's good to see the Spiders trailing Jacksonville State by 14, late in the first half today.
Misery loves company...
Halftime: Jacksonville State 50 - Richmond 29

Defense: A concept the Spiders, also, are apparently unfamiliar with.
Delaware beat the snot out of Richmond last weekend
Yeah, it was the first time in more than a decade that the Spiders trailed by 30+ in two consecutive games.
Let's hope we don't follow their lead here.
No Game notes for the Richmond game??
From tribeathletics

WR Jack Armstrong has made a number of big plays this fall and currently ranks 10th in #CAAFB with 14.3 yard per catch. #RisingTribe https://t.co/b1d1bKyehh

Will there be a coaching change at Richmond? At a million plus; it's a plum.
Have we ever gone winless in the conference? How far back do you have to go for a season as bad as this for us?

We were 2-9 as recently as 2012 but "fortunately" Georgia State was still in our conference and we were able to hold a conference mark of 1-7. Jimmye has never gone winless in conference but keep in mind we were independent (in one form or another) from '77-'92. Last time we were winless in conference was the old SoCon in 1956: 0-5 in conference, 0-9-1 overall.

ETA: We were 2-9 in 1980 while going 0-8 against former and future conference mates (only wins came against Dartmouth and Rutgers) so you could count that if you want.
Well, Vegas has us as 19.5 dogs for Saturday.

I was expecting worse given Richmond's success in the passing game this year averaging 392.2 ypg. That's 100 more ypg than New Hampshire. Hopefully we can control the clock and field position and keep their offense off the field as much as possible.

Game notes say we are still missing bodies on the O line.

Richmond will be pissed about missing the playoffs, as well as what we did to them last year, and will try to take it out on us so our boys better show up to play or this could get very ugly. They won't sit on the lead if they get it. They are also playing for a winning season.

I'll be there to support the team and hopefully watch them hang onto the Capital Cup.

If I were stupid enough to wage money on college football, I'd give those points away without thinking twice. I fear it is going to be very very ugly on Saturday.
