Interesting that the current freshman QB at BG - Doege has what looks like his brother on the coaching staff. Is in his second year as coach at BG and I'm sure his hiring had nothing to do with recruiting Doege to BG. Doege the coach has a pretty good background as a QB while at Texas Tech and played some in the NFL and CFL.

Also see they have a number of guys with their position listed as "STUD". Not sure what that is an acronym for, but one of them is from Lakewood St. Edwards by the name of Walz. Has to be related (but not his brother) to a heavyweight wrestler out of St. Eds named Ty Walz who was a HS state champ and a 3X All_American wrestling at Virginia Tech.

That BG team is loaded with freshman, RS freshman, and sophomores. That QB concerns me in the upcoming game. He is hot - and an accurate thrower. At 6'3 and 195, is less of a threat to run - but seems to have decent speed in the portions of games I have watched. We need to shut down their receiver threats in Miller and Redding. Ground game is not bad, but they are not a major concern unless we get beat up in the trenches again.

Their problems are far greater on the other side of the ball.
