Just unreal. They literally just gave Xavier a win.

Watching the replay, the foul should've been on the offender for using his arm to clear out space or it is a no call.
If I'm McDermott I'd just pay the fine and go off in the press conference
Even Mack basically just acknowledged what a garbage call that was. Did it by including the foul on the other end, but even he seems amazed that was called.
So glad UC doesn’t play with these refs anymore. They got hosed every game. At home especially!

Yep. He should take the fine and have his say. Have to believe the Creighton administration would support him on his one. They were jobbed.
Seems X has been anointed this year. 10-0 in close games...hmmmmm
Hell...they gave X a time out on a made CU free throw right before that!

No offense from my previous post about luck. jeez07-coffee3
Cincinnati media talking point appears to be that both fouls were bad calls

Comical!
X will be #2 in the country on Monday. I don’t see more than one more loss on their schedule so I’d say they’re almost a lock for a 1 seed.

Look like XU is going to pull out another one.
I don't know if they are just that lucky or just that good.

Can't stand XU, but that foul on a touch of the non-shooting elbow after the release is bad.

Not really. There is precedent for this call. Go back to the GTown game where Bluitt received the call.

Given that we lost to X, I guess it is some sort of consolation to know that the better they do, the better that loss looks on our resume.

That's the narrative I think we need to play up. One of our two losses is to the (potential) #2 team in the nation.

Saw that. Wondered if it should've been a technical or a least not allowed.
Better for X to be spending all their luck now vs a month from now.

Their "luck" this season has been pretty much courtesy of the BE.
Did anyone else notice that the refs didn't go to the monitor to check the time on the clock after the foul on Creighton? Seems like every game in that situation you have the refs going to the monitor to check the clock (because 0.5 seconds might make a big difference). BE refs are definitely in X's pockets.

That's true. The officials usual check the monitor to confirm the time on the clock when the "foul" occurred to make sure the time left is correct...they didn't appear to do this...maybe they really didn't want to look as they might've had to give Creighton a split second or two of more time and improve their chances of getting a decent shot off.

Well with two Purdue losses this week...win tomorrow and join the AP Top 5.
