They've been playing with fire since the UC game. Close games against @Marquette, @ 8-7 Northern Iowa, DePaul, Marshall, and East Tennessee State at home. Finally got burned today.
Computers think we're a better team than them. Not sure I'd go that far but based off all those close calls recently I was pretty sure they were overrated. Not a bad team but not a top 10 team.
Lot of teams ahead of UC lost this week.

#10 Kansas lost at home to #18 Texas Tech.
#11 Texas A&M lost to twice to Florida and LSU.
#12 UNC lost @Florida State and @Virginia
#14 Arizona lost to Colorado
#15 Miami lost to Georgia Tech

#17 Kentucky has a tough one tonight at #23 Tennessee.

We had a ton of wide open looks in the shootout that we missed. Just like last years run in NCAA, they drew really bad shooting teams that were colder than usual. Between that and the slow start, we were doomed. If we played them at home or neutral floor, I think we'd win. We seemed intimated by the atmosphere. Hopefully we learned,
UC is frightening in the sense that they can be so hot or cold from outside. They were cold as ice against X but I agree that they got good looks over and over. The missed shots send fans into a hissy that we don't run offense. We run offense. We just don't hit wide open shots in the games we struggle.
State v Ole Miss has been a good game so far.

AK does not look like he has aged at all in the 12 years since he left.
Pulling for State to help UC's RPI.

Yep. Plus, WSU hosts USF (Beatdown in W Town) and we need to keep pace at the top. UCF hosts Temple in the only other conference matchup.
I think there is odd sense of failure with this fan base unless the Cats go 31-0 during the regular season even though every team has their stinkers. Maybe it is the fear of a post season the ends early but I wish most Bearcat fans would enjoy the ride to the tournament because there is a good chance UC and every other top 25 team is going lose multiple times before the NCAA tournament.

No kidding.
Win tomorrow and it should be off to the races.

I made the same point in the Bengals thread. Cincinnati fans are so concerned with playoffs(tournament) they don't seem to enjoy the ride of a good, fun, well played regular season.

Well, when none of the city’s teams have won anything of note in 27 years it makes sense to focus on post season results
West Virginia getting a terrible whistle at home but Huggins has gameplanned amazingly well for tre young and they're up 6 mid second half. Good game.

Everyone enjoys the ride and everyone knows there will be an early exit. Some of clowns were rooting for that 2nd round match against UK 2 years ago lol. 2 sweet 16s since 2001? How is that an "odd" sense of failure? It is a normal sense of failure. It would odd to expect anything else.
FHOF coach Huggs Press Virginia rolls OK and Trae Young by 13

Oh what could be here.
NC state about to take down Duke. 91 to 82 with 58.6 left.
They end up winning 96 to 85.
Today's been a good day for our RPI.
