Just curious why we have soccer threads? Might as well add gymnastics, surfing, and water Polo too.
Don't like it then don't click on it. This isnt rocket science.

Yep, last time I checked lots of colleges have soccer teams.

That's a fabulous thread idea. I'd much enjoy it.

I agree.

I didn't, but I wonder the reaction I would get posting a college football thread on a MLS message board. Soccer fans seem to be trying too hard.

It's a fairly accurate barometer of the health of the U.S. economy. As soccer posts increase, the prospects for the future of our great economy are grim. Soccer is a sport embraced by the majority of 3rd world nations. Savages use the sport to hone their primary survival skill: running. Spectators observe the "players" for purposes of mating and/or tribal leadership appointments.

Are they video game fans trying too hard? They have a thread on this board too.

They are not mixing a professional sport with college sports that is 99% football and basketball driven. Yes if you're posting about Major League Baseball or NHL it would be trying too hard.

Video games are infinitely more off topic since the NCAA doesnt have video games for any sport. The AAC sponsors soccer as a sport for men and women.

As I said earlier. This isnt rocket science. Don't like the threads then dont click on it.

Difference is I am not saying your thread shouldnt exist. I am actually answering a question you presented.

You are just bone dead stupid arent you?

Well, he does desperately want this conference to add bball-only schools. This despite history suggesting that's a very, very bad idea.

Heh.... that kind of in-depth discussion of all things engineering might be to over the top for some around here. It would make for fascinating reading though.

It's almost like it's a popular sport that people like to talk about or something.

Id rather read a water polo board than a soccer board. Go for it. My generation was thankfully spared soccer except for rich kids whose moms were afraid they would get hurt playing football.

Because the threads are the most popular threads on the board. So popular that we break the board and have to start up a new one periodically to fix it.
