The PA announcer for UTC is one of the hosts of a local radio talk show here in Chattanooga. A week ago they had a feature where each host talked about sports teams and individuals that were trending up and trending down. The PA announcer said trending down is UTC basketball. The comments I believe were made after a closed scrimmage. He said he had never seen a team that played so many freshman and sophomores. Looking forward to this season!

Bob Jones is beating Furman 16-14 with 11:00 to go in the 1st.
My optimism for SoCon wins tonight is fading. So far only Furman and Citadel getting non-D1 wins.

Chattanooga covers the spread, losing only by 9 to WYOMING, WYOMING, etc., 65-74.
UNCG does too, losing by 12 to UVA, 48-60 with a 16 to 17 point spread
Bucs don't, losing by 18, 63-81
Mercer does not quite, losing by 9 to UCF, 79-88.
Wofford does not, losing at home by 21 to South Carolina, 52-73.
Samford does not, losing by 39 to Arkansas, 56-95
VMI does not, losing by 35 to NC State, 67-102
Western Carolina does not, losing by 28 to Clemson, 57-85
SoCon does beat Oglethorpe and Bob Jones.
UK was down by 9(?) at the half to Utah Valley St., but went on an 18-0 run and won handily - after going zone.
And as a mild tangent.....the Sycamores blew out the Hoosiers by 21, hitting 17/26 outside.
