Nice to see some height enter the equation.
excellent.
I haven't been following bball recruiting. We're these girls already verbal commits? Suprises?
All committed last year I think

That's correct, these girls have been committed for some time.
Any recent recruiting that Tricia has been doing is with an eye on the 2018 class.
Unimpressive stats, but I'm hoping that won't mean anything.

I would say an Ohio high school team with two Rocket signees should win state!
Let's see if Kowalczyk can sign one.

I was trying to think if we've ever signed a class where none of the signees was averaging in double-figures for their HS career (or even just their most recent season). I know the one young lady from Wadsworth missed a season due to injury which may have limited her productivity, and I think Cummings is a project that may take a couple years, but you can't coach size so it's certainly worth the scholarship. Will be interesting to see how all 3 do in their senior seasons.
as for the women's signees, you can look at stats or you can look at state champs. cullop got in early with 2 players who were great as high school freshmen and sophs. won a state title. can complete well with good players. she got a local player who has been extremely successful at a high level, although not huge numbers, and is big and has plenty of potential. so, not a class of superstars. but players who can come in and compete right away. i'd judge their stats more by their senior years.

kowalczyk can only sign 1. senior tre fletcher is graduating, or already in grad school by now. that is the open spot. perhaps, by april a current player transfers. so, there may be another spot. coach will recruit for it. either way,
the staff might sign the open spot in this signing period. or they may sign 1 or 2 in the spring.
