*Also, just a technical point but it is the 1st shutout in modern ODU football history. They did have some back in the 1930s although I am not sure anyone acknowledges those anyway.

To get even more technical it's Old Dominion's first defensive shutout, we have been shutout offensively a few times. 05-stirthepot

Their offense is pathetic but nice game plannto keep Klugh in the pocket and prevent back breaking runs. Similar concept as UTSA last year.

To get super-technical, it's the first shutout for Old Dominion University. Their shutouts in the 30s came when they were doing business as the Norfolk Division of William & Mary.
