The political issue of abortion is merely the normal process a society goes through as it defines what truly is right and what is wrong. There's lots of debate, there's lots of education, usually lots of time passes, but eventually a solution is found that the majority of society agrees with.
I don't have a passionate opinion either way but I assure you that there are 10's of millions of American's that consider abortion disgusting and borderline murder. If you study the issue closely it's hard not to get a little disgusted by it when considering that the procedure - in most cases - is an act of convenience.
Regardless, society will digest this debate and eventually move on - following the path that is most beneficial to the country as a whole. This is the way America has always done it. This is how a free society works.
