I stayed next to The a Star when I went up for the UNT game and the area is very nice for a Conference Tournament. We shall see what attendance is like. I’m betting it’s worse than what Bham has been after we’ve gotten bounced. Oh well. At least I get to enjoy it.

Unless UNT moves up a spot or two in the conference standings they wouldn't even be eligible to attend their own home tournament.
Having their team in the stands will increase attendance.

I remember back when we were in the Sun Belt, FIU brought zero fans to Hot Springs and the AD did not even attend.

CUSA should require each team to purchase 500 tix or have their cut from tourney reduced to make up difference.
You could include them with pkg for major sponsors, give them to fans that have bonafude travel reservations. Whatever, anything is better than poor attendance and better attending teams are rewarded.

Same. The biggest thing this would accomplish is throwing a land mine in front of a team with an otherwise at large worthy resume. The last thing we want is our one seed playing the 12 seed 300 RPI team in the second round.

No land mines. Teams with 300+ RPI would need to beat a 3 or 4 seed and 2 other teams to get to day 4. It would be harder for Land mine to form.
Yeah clearly I meant is not throwing a land mine. It’s a great idea.
