Matt Norlander of CBS Sports anoints the Tigers a #133 preseason ranking. He rated the Tigers “this high” due to Tubby’s coaching ability. He mentioned our talent is the worse in a generation (although the freshman could surprise). Finally, he cited our soft schedule that may give us a “shot at finishing .500.”

His ranking places us 9th in the ACC and behind Belmont, Elon, Jacksonville St, UT-K, Towson, Furman, etc.
