I guess Alan Tyson has pumped every single photon of sunshine he can and there's not anything left but mud.
Come on Eagles, beat UMass.
Video unavailable.
The good news, one team will get their first win.

The bad news, one team will still be winless.
Who thinks Tyson Summers will be lead out the door mid-season if Georgia Southern loses?

Or can Georgia Southern not afford it at the moment?

He won't be and it's not because of money. There are other issues at play.

I'm still holding out hope for letting him go once we hit 7 losses and are officially eliminated from bowl contention (hilarious I know); that being said, after the final game is much more likely. Some think that we are stuck with him through the end of next season due to behind the scenes political factors...I think if that happens you will see absolute cratering of season ticket sales and attendance next year and probably spells the end of Southern in FBS, we might as well pull an Idaho if we do that.
Been looking forward to this game and meeting a few Eagle fans. We've had two bye weeks and hope we are not too rusty and some of the injured will be playing. Not sure of Werts status, but hey, someone has to win. All things being equal, will pick the home team (-:

Homecoming weekend, but being lousy since Don Brown left, do not expect more than 11K, but we shall see. The weather is suppose to be very nice for October.

UMass current against the Sunbelt is 0-1 and hope for a final record of 1-2. We loss this game and expect it to be very bad for Whip.

This is a football homecoming link, but notice there are at least 8 other games and UMass Football does not stand out.

TS will be our coach next season. Deal with it. Our AD is still running the show.

I'll take that bet.

It's only his second season and Bohannon ain't going nowhere....

That's not how it would technically work..

It would be payed out over his contract period... but would get discounted whatever he makes at his next job. He is too young to sit out and not coach.

Easy my young padawan learner. I would not be so hasty with dishing out definitive answers.

I disagree with that...he's an option coach, and FBS HC openings at schools willing to run the option don't happen that often. I'm betting he might not even be our administrations first choice, though.

We will probably consider trying to poach Jamey Chadwell from Coastal (he was a finalist last time). Our AD really likes Brent Pry (current DC at Penn State, former GS DC) and he might try him again. And with the amazing recruiting Dell McGee (former RB coach and interim bowl game coach) is doing at UGA, I wouldn't bet against him being on the short list, too.

Personally, I would talk to Mike Houston at JMU, Mike Ayers at Wofford, and then Bohannon (in that order).

I would call you Dell and after getting laughed at over the phone, call up Houston and Bohannon and see who you could get cheaper, probably Bohannon.
Here are the game notes and media info.

If you are a Georgia Southern fan, you at the very least should be able to watch the game game from UMass All Access page outside of New England. http://www.umassathletics.com/watch/?Live=153&type=Live . The game is listed on my TV Guide for the complete game on NESNPlus. A large portion 4-6PM is listed for NESN and maybe available in your area. It's also on Eleven Sports and on ATT U-Verse and on Satellite.

Will that work for the app game?
