Is that the biggest comeback in program history? I can't think of one bigger off the top of my head.
Prior to that game we were 0-59 when trailing by 17 or more points.
Reminded me a little of our game against Arkansas State over a decade ago (and I believe we had just cracked the top 25 and lost our ranking after squeaking that one out). This win is way more significant, though

Wow that's a trip!

Yep thought we were toast .... what a comeback...
TIGER FOOTBALL HISTORY

471 passing yard MOST EVER by Tiger QB in a game
You're telling me we've only been down by 17+ points 59 times ever before tonight?

Since when? Because I know that's not all-time.
Our offense is so explosive that I never really felt like we were out of it. I just wasn’t sure if the defense was going to get a needed stop

Insane to think most of that was in the second half. Imagine if we converted on third down those 9 scoreless drives of the first half. He would've had video game like numbers!

I think it might be starting the game 17-0 not down by 17, but I'm not sure. It does seem like there would be a lot more than 59.
Thought it said since 2004

You're right. I just went back and looked. That makes more sense.

2004 would have been that Arkansas State game with their QB Noche.

Remember when we blew a 31-6 halftime lead over them in West's last season?

Yep. I'm not sure when it was, but I remember blowing a game to Cincinnati that was terrible. haha
The kick-off return was critical. It got us back going again.

Porter was down 17 points in at least 59 games in his 2 years here.

I thought of that game, too. We would have lost that game if it wasn’t for Scott Vogul. That’s when I learned to never leave a game early, which was really hard during the Porter years. I remember after the game RC said that they told him to move because they were going to let the ASU fans rush the field. Oops. Haha
