I don't know any of the inner workings of UAB athletics and just go to the games but I'm curious.

Anyone know what our season ticket sales look like for currently for both football and basketball?

Does UAB have something similar to the football foundation for MBB? Seems like it would be a good time to push it

We should be contacting everyone who has ever bought a football ticket and left their phone number and inquiring about basketball tickets. Maybe even offer a special rate if you buy both?
I would think it a step up to bring Bartow Arena into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act - specifically providing hand rails for 200 level seating. The only level with hand rails when I was there last time is the lower level wooden pull-out seating. Legion Field has the same limitation with no chair basks to grab hold of as one has at Bartow Arena.

Bartow Arena is already ADA compliant.

When did Bartow Arena install hand rails for 200 level seating? Until it does so, it is only minimally compliant - limited to those in wheelchairs and/or able to afford the high premium seats that have them.

If you have additional questions concerning our wheelchair seating or ADA availability, please contact the ticket office and speak to a ticket associate. They can assist you in meeting your ticket needs (205-975-8221).
AD Ingram mentioned planned upgrades/renovation of Bartow a few months ago. Still trying to raise the money, I guess.
While I was at the ticket office, I asked about the season tickets for football. I was told they sold just over 11k. It would be so awesome if we could get half that for basketball season tickets.

It is ADA compliant. It passed the architectural, city and state building commission inspections. There is handicapped seating at the bottom of 200 section on both sides of the arena. There are no requirements for anything higher. if you are handicapped you can contact UAB as instructed above and you can use the HC seating.

Do you need a stadium certificate, first?
