Besides Jeppesen, who else from the O-line is out? I saw Jeppesen on the sidelines Saturday coaching the O-line. Is he out for the year?
Chambers, Peters and Berg were there as well. I'm not sure if they have been on the Travel team before?
Atariwa was starting guard is also out
Starting RG Cotterman is out too...not sure if it's for the season or not...hasn't played since Tulsa.
Btw:Rosi looks like he's going to be a good one.
Cotterman replaced Atariwa and Heidecker replaced Cotterman
Cotterman & Atariwa were the 2 starting guards thru Tulsa. After their injuries, were replaced by Harris & Heidecker. When Jeppesen got hurt, Harris moved back to center (where he played part of last year) and Kassem slid in at guard.
Just listened to Candle's presser today and no one asked for an injury status. (Seriously, Toledo press guys ... ask the questions people want to know about.) The previous week I believe Candle said Jeppesen was day-to-day. Haven't heard any updates.
Candle did say how impressed he was with the O-line against CMU, given that that particular 5 had hardly any reps as a group before Saturday. Said he might typically want to sub in a couple guys here and there to give them some rest but chose not to do it because of the weather and that he didn't want to break their rhythm.
Still trying to figure out if that supposed 11 players out for the season is real or not.
Since Rosi is playing TE now, I'm guessing the Kulon is out? Haven't seen him in several weeks. Also, haven't seen Tre'Shaun Wilson since maybe Elon. Is he injured?
Also, I asked in the CMU thread, but didn't see a response. Anyone know what happened to Aaron Covington? No longer on the roster. Was #2 corner behind Mathis in the pre-season depth chart.
The O-line depth chart in the Akron Game Notes is down right frightening. Jeppesen no longer listed. Kassem is the starting LG, but also the backup center. Bell is the backup at both tackles. There is no backup listed at either guard (says TBA). Ummm.... yikes? What happened to Doerger? He was on the two deep at guard at the start of the season.

Kulon out for year with injury, Candle said on radio show last nite, guess we need to call in to find out specifics about team
Injuries are a sad part of it... Some years we are relatively injury-free, other years, not so much ... I guess it goes to show that building depth is such an integral part of running a successful program ...

After looking at depth chart one would think some red shirts will be burnt on offensive line. Berg perhaps... btw we are playing a lot of frosh
I spoke to #76 Elijah Nkansah after the game. He was on crutches and had an air cast on his leg. Anybody know his status?

Nkansah got hurt? Didn't see that. At first I thought you were referring to Atariwa who is out with broken leg and I would have been surprised if he was now in an air cast since it was only 3 weeks ago. That would have been good news.
Adeniyi went off the field with help and was only putting minimal pressure on his injured leg. Got hurt on our fumble recovery by Woodley. He got hurt before the fumble occurred. It happened right if front of where I was watching the game. I think it was another case of getting his leg trapped under him when somebody rolled up on it. That can mean just about anything, but I would bet he is questionable for the BSU game.
