I don’t remember hearing his name, kinda odd if you ask me
Taylor didn't play the UConn game. He played yesterday.
Dorceus is the 3rd back.

Some people have a hard time understanding this. We may need him this week with the short turnaround.

I understand it but I like Dorceus better than Taylor. Dorceus has excellent vision Taylor runs hard but doesn’t really search out open lanes
I think Dorceus had slight injury?..

Oh yea, DD is better than Taylor. He must still be somewhat injured.

Taylor's averaging 5.5 yards per carry. He averaged almost 6 last year. What's not to love?

They said he got injured in warm ups before the game.
They planned on using him.
It's hard to say who the best is between these 3 guys. All are really good. I'd take Taylor but just glad we have all 3.

IMO, Taylor is too slow getting to the hole. Once he gets thru though he's fine. DD hits the hole faster and runs a little harder. Taylor will be a fine back, glad we have him.
Henderson
Taylor
Dorceus

I have confidence in all 3 of these guys. It's nice to have. Totally agree with the coaches depth chart.
Y'all crazy if you think DD is better than Taylor. PT has made the most of the opportunities he's gotten. I personally think he should be used more than he already is. Who do you think made Jarvis Cooper transfer? He knew what was up.

You know how, when we are playing a team and it seems like every time their running back hits our front defensive lines and linebackers, and he just. won't. go. down. and he keeps churning and pushing and sneaking around the butts of people who don't know he's there and makes them look like idiots and every time we think we've got him on first contact well before the first down marker but some how that SOB falls forward and we just can't seem to prevent them from getting a first down?

That's who Dorceus is on OUR team. Hadn't had one since Deangelo.

Taylor runs over people. He's avg 5.5 a touch. I like DD but he's not as good as the other two after his injury.
Henderson is averaging 8 yards per carry. Insane.

Yes, but that's because he has some REALLY long runs averaged in. Like 70 yard TD runs. Those make it through the first level and then never get touched again kind of runs. Those are the results a lot of times from the RPO. I'm taking about those tough running yards that you have to run through 4 or five tackles at multiple levels. The ones where you set up and tell the other team, "hey... we're gonna run a running play.. and probably off-tackle." That's where DD excels. The kind of running you need when you need to run clock and make a drive last long enough to give your defense a rest. Or when you need to use the last 7 minutes off the clock to win the game.
I think it depends on what we're trying to do, from game to game, and drive to drive, even play to play.

Give it to Henderson X number of times and he's going to break off a long run. He's also going to be stopped for little or no gain several times. Stick with him, tho and lightning's going to strike.

Give it to Dorceus the same number of times and he'll generate more positive-yard touches, but he'll be less likely to hit a long run. He tends to get run down from behind.

Taylor's young, and I think he could end up as the perfect combination of Henderson and Dorceus. Maybe.

I wonder if Henderson is simply getting more touches in game situations where the Coach thinks his big-play potential is higher. And if Dorceus gets more carries when Coach wants a more reliable, grind-it-out game plan.

It almost looks like Coach is still feeling out who's going to be The Man, but it seems kinda late in the season for that.

Truth is, I'm just thrilled to have multiple high-level running backs. And Henderson's back-out-of-the-backfield TD the other day is one more thing our opponents have to scout and prepare for.
