Akron-Western Michigan game postponed until Sunday at 1:00PM, though I imagine they'll have to play the game at a local high school, or somewhere located on higher ground.

I think a lot of MAC fans would prefer Sunday games to the weeknight madness in Bovember

Maybe they should schedule a few
If given the choice of a 1:30 or 2:00 kickoff on Sunday or 7:00 or 8:00pm on a Tuesday or Wednesday I'll take the Sunday every single time from October 1 to the end of the season.
no football last night or tonight I demand someone take some MACtion on this!!!!!

Fear not, there are zero Saturday MAC games in November. Good things come to those who wait.

I'm curious what conversations are had among the school presidents about that. What they've been hearing from faculty, students, fans, and donors about the kind of distractions and disruptions they cause to campus operations.

At some point, does this stop for something more traditional or balanced?

I know more conferences are embracing non-Saturday games, but, it's in its infancy in some places, and some simply won't do it.
With a few exceptions, let high schools claim Friday nights and the NFL on Sundays. Time periods such as the Friday after Thanksgiving have several traditional college games. Thursday nights seem to be a well accepted for college football as long as it never gets over-crowded and keeps feasibility with TV.
Would it make sense for someone like ESPN or NBC, who don't air NFL on Sundays (aside from NBC's prime time game) to purchase the rights on the cheap and air some MAC/C-USA/Sunbelt/MWC games at noon and 3:30pm eastern?

I'd throw the AAC in there too but Temple and USF play in NFL stadiums which would lead to scheduling troubles and Cincinnati, Tulane, Houston, and SMU all play in NFL cities as well and could receive limited viewership due to shared loyalties between the pro and college teams.

Only 1 next weekend also, Buffalo at Akron. CMU, Toledo and Buffalo do get Friday after TDAY home games the final week which beats playing on Tuesday

Please don't or every one of our games will be on a weeknight.

ESPN. Obviously they are not "at" MAC HQ, but somewhere in Bristol, CT.

The odds are higher you'll reach somebody at ACC Network HQ than that you'll reach anybody involved in buying MACtion games.

All of the Big Four (ABC via ESPN) have their fingers in the NFL pie. Regularly scheduled college football going head-to-head with the NFL isn't happening.
