Army is a pretty darn good team as is EMU, that's how Army beats people
They only have 8 pass completions in 7 games, with 38 attempts. They run the triple option and virtually never throw the ball. All of the service academies play the same way. Air Force did not throw a single pass against Navy last weekend.
Did EMU go for two at the end? I saw that EMU scored with under a minute remaining.
Yes. Stopped at the half yard line.
Army is fun for no one. Take nothing from those games to compare the team.

Army completed 2 passes for 17 yards in their 21-17 win over Buffalo. They rushed for 322 yards.

Army runs the triple option, they literally only pass if they HAVE to....which is rarely.
Looks like Army-Navy is shaping up to be another good one this year.

That was a totally weird weekend. Shocked they actually got the game in as we got 5 to 7 inches of rain, the field was literally a foot underwater Sat. night. Over a million gallons of water pumped out, Akron had to go to Lansing to find a hotel, WMU players had to sleep in dorms, show up Sunday to play with no band, hardly a crowd (sad showing, but understandable to a degree). It would have been a great saturday atmosphere, 18,000 plus tickets sold, homecoming, instead, windy rainy cold. WMU dominated the yards 400 plus to 215 total for Akron, but Akron fought hard and made some defensive plays when they had to. WMU is not the same team as last year, as the offensive line and backs are still good, but you don't have a senior qb and corey davis to keep the defense honest. Still, if not for some breaks and questionable coaching moves, WMU should have won, but give Akron credit, they played hard. We will find out Saturday for sure if WMU is overrated as Eastern is snake bit, but good.

It was interesting to see how the bulls struggled with Anderson in the game. Their backup had a couple of huge completions and made plays Anderson just wasn't able to make
