It’s not shocking news to me. I was just passing along info. I guess mark g. was just confirming Harris was going to be there.

Much has been said about the fact he's coming. Everyone would like a commit from him after he attends or before he attends or while he is there. lol

We aren't picky as long as it's soon.

Much has been said how horrible Tubby is and his players aren’t any good and yet I keep seeing it here. It was just confirmed today by Ginnatto that Harris would be attending. It was worth someone posting about it. If it wasn’t newsworthy why did Ginnatto tweet it out?

Yes I heard that as well. Must be some real beef between the two. I thought it was mostly competition but seems it goes deeper than that.

Yes I heard that as well. Must be some real beef between the two. I thought it was mostly competition but seems it goes deeper than that.

Sounds like Joe Jackson and Chris Jones.

I know NOTHING, but my expectation is that he will commit and the reason he did not commit last weekend was to save it for this event.

It would be a nice reason, because the longer he draws it out the more schools might get interested in him.

But as many here have mentioned, it is better for Memphis players to get away from those who whisper in their ears. So which is it? We can't have it both ways.

I'll take Memphis kids any day. I say keep our talent at home, so they play for us and forge a strong bond. Have it be a win win situation, though. We should go out of our way to make sure they get the support and improvement needed to make a good living in the sport they love.

And just maybe they will come back to settle in Memphis when their careers are over, and just maybe they will give back to their community. That's how communities improve.

Memphis is very loyal to its own--even the Tigers who didn't grow up here. Hey. Once a Tiger always a Tiger. That's what makes the college sports experience in Memphis so unique. We do not forget.

That's just not true.

Tubby waited over a year to actually start recruiting any highly rated recruits, and by that I mean top 150. He appeared to be taking advantage of the situation by doing little for the millions he's being paid. He has not talked to the media much, therefore we never hear much from him. Both very valid criticisms.

Most here have echoed that, and yet still said we'll wait and see, meaning we can't fire him and since he's such a good coach, maybe we'll be better than the players rankings and predictions say.

As far as his players not being any good, well, their rankings prove that they are down in the Tic Price recruit range, therefore they aren't very good. The stupid Quachita thing made it look worse than it really was.

I think everybody wants Tubby to succeed because they want the Tigers to succeed. He's just doing a terrible job communicating to us and whether or not he's doing a good job recruiting will be decided on the court this season and next.

I'll be there tonight, I hope Harris will and I hope y'all will too.
