Sorry, couldn't resist...
Surprised they didn't go with SE7EN like the movie.

Cool gear, but someone would have to wear it early and often. Not sure how many are willing to spend $46 on the sweatshirt where the slogan will get dated pretty fast.

I agree. If it were spelled SE7EN ala the the movie, it would have been more fitting.
He's on the NIU board.
SE7EN is likely still trademarked
I give our marketing team credit. Tied for most OTs in FBS and pull out the W.

Wish it'd actually reference the OTs somewhere though.......
Not really sure why this is being celebrated

It's a record and so we're trying to market/publicize it

Agreed.

Agreed.

Aww ladies, if your man crush had coached a team to a 7 OT win, you'd be swooning still, singing his praises, four days later and you know it's true. 03-cloud9
I’d read Todd’s It Takes Seven memoirs.
I mean, yeah, it's cool we were in the (tied for) longest game ever, but is gear for it really necessary?

I'm not gonna buy one, but the answer to your question is for the market to decide.

I didn't buy any "RTB" stuff either (and it sold very well), but sure did buy MAC Championship, "13-0" and "Cotton Bowl" gear...probably too much of it, too.

Also bought several MAC Champion shirts from baseball's 2016 tournament shocker. Unfortunately, those shirts did not sell well, probably because no students were on campus when it happened.

I also try to avoid buying any WMU gear that has no brown in it. WMU's colors are BROWN, not black, and GOLD. Take black off the rack and bring Bronco Brown back to town, baby!

Plenty to celebrate and be proud of at WMU!

No.

No.

Then don't buy it and quite whining. I thought it was a great win, and the team and program could rally around this. I hope they do, but not with your help, that's for sure.

So obvious you miss your man crush, that anything done with this regime isn't going to be acceptable to you. You've been nit picking since day 1.

Why didn't you go to Minny with him? Wait, don't answer, I'll see you at BWTB Saturday, tell me there.
I can't say I really care for the shirts, however, it shouldn't take 7 OTs.... play ******* defense.

They had 31 pts in regulation, and I'm sure they're saying the same thing on their side about the defense, but the reality is that OT's are a whole different kettle of fish, and that QB and WR's made some serious plays to keep it going. So did Jarvion and our offense.

It was a great win by two teams who are totally bought in to their coaches, which is why it went so deep.

Agree Completely
The overtime was a pure test of wills by two tired and beat up teams. It was a display of some real mental toughness and an opportunity for the leaders on the Bronco team to impose their will. There is absolutely nothing to denigrate and YES it should be celebrated with some special gear for those that wish to commemorate something that doesn’t happen every day. The media sure thought it was special based on the coverage received
The media thought it was “special” because it went SEVEN OVERTIMES.

Nobody’s dogging it... some of us would rather buy apparel commemorating more significant accomplishments... you know, like Championships and stuff like that.

Who celebrates one regular season win this early in the schedule? As much as I’m glad we won, that win literally holds the same weight as our annihilation of Ball State the week before.

A commemorative t-shirt for this is so small time.
