Iowa State has been down so long, I wonder if that is enough to get him a lifetime contract there (or perhaps a few feelers from teams higher up the P5 pecking order come December)----anyway, that win should buy him a lot of good will in Ames and it doesn't appear that he will be on the hot seat there any time soon.

He'll make more in a couple of seasons than I will in my entire career in healthcare dealing with life and death and everything in between. Must be nice to be paid millions to watch kids throw a ball around and not have to deal with nightmares about patients that died that you couldn't save.

Campbell is one of fewer than 100 head coaches (estimate, too lazy to look) that make 7 figures. I am going to go out on a limb and say that top 100 doctors in America aren't hurting either.

That's exactly the point they made. "Free market" means what the market demands. They're bemoaning what we as society value and advocating change. We can have THAT freedom, or we can have the alternative.
