Looks like it may be a rainy day at Richardson stadium. Hopefully Charlotte’s ground game can keep it close.
Rain? Yuck. Though as hot and summer like as it’s been for the past couple weeks I’ll take rain here in Huntington to try to cool things off. It’s 89 degrees today.
Have seen a lot of Marshall fans around town for the game. Thanks for coming down. Sorry for the weather. Take it easy on us.
TD Herd
Litton to Brady
Marshall 7
Charlotte 0
Interesting play...
Charlotte’s QB throws a ball to a side of the field where only a Herd DB in a white jersey is In the vicinity for the INT. On the return, gets hit from behind and fumbles the ball, where Charlotte’s TE then runs it back 30 or so yards before being tracked down near the 30 for Charlottes biggest gain of the game... then punts three plays later.
Give the niners credit...they came to play
I see field goal kicking continues to be an iffy proposition. 39 should be make-able.
Charlotte's defense is flexing hard but not quite breaking. However Charlotte's offense is just totally punchless
Our offense is missing so many opportunities. This is very sloppy. Not sure i have ever seen such a one sided game that's still one possession at half.
Offense struggles continue, every time I think we've turned a corner the offense just stops.
There are only 12 opportunities to schedule college football on autumn Saturdays...
And this is one of them.
That’s about as nice as I can get right now.
TD Herd, Litton to Brady from 11 yds. out. 14-0 MU.
FG Charlotte, 14-3 Herd, 5:20 left in 3rd Qtr.
That non review on the fumble deep in Marshall territory was terrible.
Marshall getting EVERY call and NO CALL.

Its not important. Marshall is clearly the better team, the score will not indicate the disparity in these two teams. But our offensive ineptness is impressive tonight.

You're right. Marshall clearly is the better team. Just frustrating to see calls go against us. And who knows, with the way Marshall has struggled to put up points we might have had a chance if some of those calls went our way.
Here is where it gets interesting. Doc and Legg will do everything in their power to gice Charlotte as many opportunities to break a big play as they can in this final 6 minutes. At least two more 3 and outs.
There simply isn't any killer instinct in this team from what I've seen tonight. It looks, again, like they are playing simply not to lose, rather than to put their collective feet to the medal and put the other team down.
