Hell of a player for us, but damn KMart, why do you gotta be such an a-hole.

For those that don't feel like opening the link, basically he is saying that Jeremy Lin isn't allowed to have dreadlocks, and Lin shoots back in a very classy way while subtlety digging at him for his Chinese tats.

Relax... don't be a little snowflake
The Glen Beck show talked about it this morning.
Love Kenyon but accusing Linn of culturally appropriating was pretty stupid...
and even more stupid when Kenyon was guilty of culturally appropriating himself with the Chinese character Tatoos.

As Kelso on That 70s show would say..."Major Burn!"

Tell that to Kenyon as he is the one upset. Why throw shade on jarr?
Been avoiding the subject like the plague, I hate to say anything negative about the dude.
It shows a certain entitled mentality that exists within identity politics.
No race owns dreads, if he wants to be consistent with that criticism, then he should be calling out black women who straighten their hair or sport weaves. The sad part, is that the concern about cultural/racial appropriation used to be legitimate. Now a'days, it's just a way of drawing attention to yourself. The idea that hairstyles are off limits is just an extension of that "stay your lane" BS people peddle.

In KMart's defense, I'm sure he probably wasn't even thinking that deeply about it. Just saw what he felt was a poser and called it out.
In some ways, it's understandable. There are a lot of white kids that steal from black culture and represent themselves as sort of a caricature of it.
With white rappers for example, you have some originals like the Beastie Boys, Eminem, Atmosphere etc. but then, you run into the others... The one's who change their diction to sound a certain way, the ones who dress a certain way and act flamboyant. I always look at them and wonder, how are you any different than Al Jolson painting his face black and singing about mammy, mammy in Alabamy? You always get those upper middle class people who want to say things too, they think it's cool and they sound like the stereotypical black voice actor in a Pixar animated film...
Douche bags... 03-lmfao
A bunch of white SJW shut down an ACLU free speech event at William and Mary, under the banner of BLM, talk about cultural appropriation lol.

Mark needs to learn how to debate without calling people who post names.

It is OK you proudly earned your "Troll" status over on the AAC board. Would you like to discuss KMart?

What's the debate here? Kenyon martin says something stupid and gets called an ahole by jarr. My point is that's an overreaction and i tried to convey the joking nature of my tweets but i guess is hard to pick up on for some.

The snowflake comment isn't about calling names it's about this being small potatoes so relax, maybe don't call the guy an ahole.
Very unpc remark by Kmart. In his defense, Lin's hair does look pretty ridiculous.

Everyone is just too obsessed about all this nonsense, who's black, who's whote, who's yellow, who can act black, white, or yellow. Here's one, who gives a sh*t! I'll worry about my life and your family, how about you do the same.

But I agree, I don't think Kenyon is a very deep thinker on these issues, and probably didn't see the big deal. So I don't really care either. Still a hell of a player. If he would have won us a NT, he could dress in full on black panther gear and I would still love him.
The quote I saw said Kenyon said it with a very sarcastic look and tone. Sounds like he was trying to make a joke that didn't land. Especially in print.

Ah the importance of context!
Something a lot of people miss when all they want to see are attacks and all they are looking to do is push tabloid-like "news". This is TMZ sh*t.
