Will Ball St. bounce back at Akron after being trounced by WMU last week? Akron seemed to have trouble with BGSUcks, so I think they do. CMU could play like they did vs. Kansas and put a scare into the Bobcats. Other than those two games, I think it's fairly easy to predict the rest of the winners.

Bold=Win, Underline=Beating Spread

Eastern Michigan @ Toledo -13.5
*Toledo's going to break thru EMU's tough D. But EMU's not-awesome O will get their points, too. Toledo by 2 TDs.

Central Michigan @ Ohio -12
*Morris the cat could wake up and do pretty well, so it wouldn't be a shocker if CMU won. But it being in Ohio, it would be surprising. Ohio wins by 13 in a close game for much of it.

Bowling Green @ Miami -14
*Only 2 TD favorites over BGSU, at home? Miami-OH gets back on track during this game and wins by 17.

Ball State @ Akron -7
*BSU's QB will be out for at least most of the season, and their star RB is likely out. It's in Akron, and Akron can play at home. WMU pasted BSU last week. Akron wins by 2 TDs.

Kent State @ Northern Illinois -23.5
*Quite a huge spread for NIU. But I think they're going to be a little butt-hurt after last week's close loss to SDSU. They have nothing to prove this game. But this will help get their O even smoother with Santa, but at the same time, it won't be Uber impressive given their state of mind, for much of the game early. NIU wins by 20.

Western Michigan -7 @ Buffalo
*Only 1 TD favorites? Buffalo's starting QB is likely not going to play. But he's no Joe Montana anyway (but better than his backup). Buffalo's D is pretty good, but it's no Peter North. WMU's offense gained some traction against Ball State, and WMU should win this game by 14-20 pts. That's assuming being on the road doesn't change things up for them in the turnover+ department.

Eastern Michigan @ Toledo - Pfft, I'll go down with the ship. Generally the close games tend to balance out if you're a decent team and I still think this is one of EMU's best chances in a long, long time to do it. Plus, I'm behind in the points and if it happens it's a chance to gain. :)
