I am watching a replay of the Coppell - Jesuit football game on TV here in Dallas. The QB at Coppell, Brady McBride, is a Memphis commit. Coppell is ahead 21-7 with about 4 minutes left in the first quarter. . McBride is extremely accurate on his passing and has thrown some long passes. Kind of reminds me of a young Riley Ferguson. He also had a nice run for about 20 yards and another for 8 yards to get a first down. He is very athletic and the team is averaging 45 points a game. His dad was the former head football coach at Coppell, so he is a coach's son. His uncle is the defensive coordinator for the team. Coppell also has as pretty good kicker, Caden Davis...a junior. All his kickoffs went into the back of the end zone. He has 8 of 11 field goals and made a 51 yarder this year. http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/caden-da...efault.htm

I have to catch a plane early tomorrow, so am heading to bed but I am taping the game. Coppell eventually wins it 63-41. The game may eventually end up on YouTube.
Oh nice, thanks for the heads up. I'll actually try to catch a game in person this year to see him live
Doesn't this make the 3rd QB in the past five year who had either a first or last name of Brady?

The kid has impressive arm strength.

He looks good. I didn't see superior arm strength, but he throws a nice catchable ball. He's also got some wheels.
McBride is #2 in this video.

Here is the video of the Dallas Jesuit - Coppell Cowboys game. Both are 6A schools.
Brady McBride is #2 in black. #22 in white is E J Smith, Emmitt's son who plays for Jesuit. And yes, that is Emmitt coaching on the sideline.
E J scored 3 TD's in this game which Coppell won.
