University 6 is UofL. University 7 looks to be Miami.

******* hell. We might be getting the death penalty. Pitino definitely gone, Jurich should be gone, our whole athletic department just became a train wreck.
I see The Carolina Way is infectious....
Looking real bad for Louisville and Pitino. I think we now know why Papa John wanted Pitino fired.

JUST became a train wreck? The whores weren't enough for train wreck status?
From Yahoo:

While only four schools are currently involved, the complaints will provide a treasure map for NCAA investigators as it tells stories of endless payouts and kickbacks in the recruitment of numerous top prospects over the past three years.
And that’s before any of the involved agree to cooperate with authorities.

I hate you guys have to go through this.
Jurich and Pitino were part of the Ramsey gang. Tom and Rick will be fired with cause. They work in an at will state. Both have earned dismissal. And it was Jurich's job to prevent NCAA rule breaking by our coaches. This is totally unacceptable behavior to me! 07-coffee3 07-coffee3
Just heard this on WDRB at noon. SMH , looking bad. SC said could expand to a lot of Universities.
I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you!

Found a video of the NCAAs reaction:

These criminal charges are based on the theory that these payments cheated the schools involved because they admitted student athletes whom they wouldn't have admitted if they had known of the payments. However, if there are reasonable doubts about whether the schools were actually in the dark, the defendants walk. I would guess that that is the likely path these defendants will take in defending themselves. That could make for some very ugly trials, if it comes to that.

Everybody will end up hurt by this, no matter how clean their programs have been.
Nike has also been under investigation for bribery and fraud since 2015 or before. Nike and Adidas make up about 90% of D1 schools.

Not exactly. They're based on the fact that public sector employees are involved in bribery under the guise of a non-profit venture. It's going to get really interesting when they start singing.
I actually have more sympathy for the Louisville dorm whores. This rogue assistant, if true, got paid a whole lot more than the ladies.
Tell me again how part of the reason why UConn was passed over by the ACC was that Jim Calhoun was SOOOO corrupt because one of his former team managers gave improper benefits to a single recruit. Man, that was child's play! I guess that we aren't ACC material. Even our corruption is small time by comparison.

But nowhere near as small time as your football program, the real reason you were passed over.

I guess if I were a fan of a dying athletic program I'd be trolling message boards of conferences said program has zero shot of ever joining as well.
