Other JMU opponent games:
ECU (0-3) @ Connecticut (1-1)

ETSU (1-2) @ Mercer (1-2)
I was surprised to see Mercer (1-2) favored by 13.5, then looked up their schedule. Beat Jacksonville 48-7, only lost to Wofford 28-27, and @ Auburn 24-10..Wofford, Citadel, Samford, UTC, Mercer..guess no clear cut favorite in the So-Con now..

DSU (0-3) @ NSU (0-3)

So far JMU’s 3 OOC opponents are 0-8 vs Div I, or 0-5 besides JMU..
Ecu might get a win this week
Side note, the ECU @ UCONN game is on Sunday at noon. Huskies are 4.5 pt favorites.
If ECU doesn't beat UConn, they may have a winless season.
JMU strength of schedule is not good this year outside of the CAA.

So neither of those teams want their fans to watch the whole game? A NOON Sunday game seems very odd this time of year...

Bizarre set of circumstances led to this. First, the game was originally scheduled for Nov. 4th but they worked with the AAC to move it to this upcoming weekend so UConn could play South Florida in what was a postponed game due to Hurricane Irma. A MLS game between NYC FC versus the Houston Dynamo was moved to UConn's stadium this upcoming Saturday, the 23rd, due to Hurricane Harvey postponing a game in Houston. So, UConn's stadium was already taken. 2 different hurricanes (and 2 different sports/leagues) causing rescheduling.

It also spares all of college football fans from this embarrassing game. It will happen, and nobody will know, so it works out perfectly.

If a college football game falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Since there will be no fans in the stands, no. No it will not.

There would be no sound at Villanova.

The MLS game being moved has nothing to do with Hurricane Harvey. It takes three days to convert Yankee Stadium from baseball to soccer or vice versa. NYCFC playing on Saturday followed by the Yankees starting a homestand on Tuesday night was planned. However, on Monday the Yankees play a makeup game against Kansas City that was rained out on May 25. Yankee Stadium couldn't host the Yankees two days after NYCFC.

Makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

ETSU 26, Mercer 23
After ETSU almost knocking off El Cid and upsetting (Mercer coming in probably a top 5 So-Con team (So-Con got 4 in the playoffs last season)) I think we can put to bed the notion that JMU thumped a cupcake and give JMU credit for thumping a decent, or at least mediocre, ETSU team.

NSU 17, DSU 7
CAA looking like some really weak sauce right now. I'd hope it just meant some stronger parity in the conference but 'Nova barely beating a horrible Lehigh team and losing to a terrible Temple team really needed a win today. And Richmond has obviously fallen hard, their defense is in a shambles. New Hampshire got crushed by a team that lost to Dartmouth. We're not going to get seeded above an undefeated MVC team this year if we do nothing less than dominate every game. And blowing a game to one of these guys will drop us below Sam Houston, Jacksonville St, and 1-loss MVC teams.

I would love to see NDSU travel to BFS this year but some of these other CAA teams need to get their shat together STAT. Maybe we need to get used to seeing Elon, Albany and Stony Brook in the playoffs instead of Richmond, Villanova and Delaware?
Maybe Elon, Albany, and Stony Brook have caught up to those programs and are now surpassing them.
