Nate Hinton - Chron.com

Nate Hinton had offers from nearly every ACC school. He’s rated fourth-best player in North Carolina and No. 95 on ESPN100 for class 2018
Slowly building up! I like it.
Wow, that's a nice pick-up, if a bit puzzling. Does this guy enjoy playing with 600 people in attendance? He's likely had more scouts watching him play in high school than he will see actual fans at Hoffbrau House, er, Hoffheinzzzz Pavilion.
Nice get! Any chance his family is going on the payroll? Just asking.

He wants to play in a guard heavy system.

bahahaha why u mad bruh
He didn't want to play for Lebo?
Really good pickup. Hurts with our big NC push of late. Hopefully closing our class with NC SG/Wing Trey Wertz now.
Good commit. Is he really a Point Guard? I know he wanted to play Point Guard, but the jury is out if he really is a point guard or a good basketball player (guard of small forward).
Just saw a live picture of Fratita center, man that is a complete redo, totally gutted, can't wait to see it finished, we will be back dominating this conference in basketball again, just like we dominated the MVC back in the 50s, cougars will mop the hardwood with the head of that shocker looking thing
Really nice pickup for Houston here. UC was pursuing him as a combo guard, and I liked his game a lot. Sounds like he wanted to play PG, which makes sense.

I'm glad a guy like this ends up at UH rather than in the ACC. Good for the conference.
This is definitely a great recruit for us... I like to believe Sampson is building something special here... Who knows perhaps we'll soon have the horses to building the basketball program back up where it belongs.

Flagship... Houston Strong 04-rock

Lol. A couple. I like basketball and watch a lot of games. Houston isn't alone to struggle with attendance. I didn't watch the whole game but there were a lot of empty seats. Most likely my guess would be maybe 2500 at the games I saw. Seriously, what was the published attendance average? My guess would be 3500-4000. Amiclose?

I took a shot. My point is really that you guys are building and you want all the talent you can get and Hinton is a good player. Sampson is at the spot where he will tell him ya, we need a point guard and you will be it even if he doesn't think he'll be a point guard. I haven't read too many experts who think that Hinton will be a PG. we recruited him and we want a point guard. I don't think Marshall recruited him as a PG. as I've said several times, congrats on a talented recruit.

Averaged too many minutes...Lebo likes the kids with lower miles on the tires. 10 minutes per game or less.
Congrats!

LOL, Houston dominated the MVC in the 50's? Hardly. Houston was our bend over please doggy. Cincy entered the MVC for the '57-'58 season and won the conference championship in '58, '59, '60, '61, '62 and '63, along with five consecutive Final Fours. Bradley, St. Louis and Wichita were worthy competitors but Houston was a non-factor. Houston never once beat Cincinnati and pretty much still hasn't. What is Houston's record against Cincy? Something like 1-28. But you're entitled to your fantasies about Houston's "dominance".
