There may have been fewer penalties, but the stupid remained strong. We had the one call for facemasking because the rulebook doesn't have a listing for "ripping off a guy's helmet and spinning around to throw it like an Olympic discus." And the blatant back-to-back interferences late in the left corner would have had a HS freshman running stadiums all week.

Carolina was 6 for 15 on third down. That's not great, but it's not terrible. Clearly most of them were in the second half.
