Free agent Tony Allen is finalizing a one-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, league sources tell The Vertical.

Thought all those saying TA would get 2 years / $12M were wrong. The league has changed, few coaches want a shooting guard that can't shoot. And Fizz wanted to go young.
I dont understand what NOLA is doing with their guards.
He and Zach were the faces of the franchise. Grit and grind is gone.
Grizz home opener is against New Orleans

"Were" is the important qualification. ZBo hasn't been the best player on the team for years. And glad TA had a good, healthy year last season, but it was time for a change.

No reason for Grit 'n Grind to fade away. Just the first version has ended. Can't buy a moniker and rep like Grit 'n Grind. Lakers have Showtime. Thunder have Loud City. Portland has Rip City. Grizz need to keep Grit 'n Grind.

I agree they should keep the slogan, but the current coach seems to be stepping away from grit and grind style.
What exactly is the grit and grind style?
*sigh*

knew it was coming but still sad to see him go.

Been fun while it lasted. Wish him well, but go Grizz!
He and Zach will always be Grizzlies legends regardless of where they finish up their careers.
