I will. Because unlike some, I see a problem and seek to understand why that problem exists. Only through some semblance of understanding can we begin to fix it. Others will simply point and complain and come to some sort of backwards explanation through the ignorance of their own sheltered environment and understanding.
As for the armed services, It is an institution that wishes to rebuilt people in a specific physical and mental way that enables them to be guardians of this country.
In order for that system to be sufficient, orders have to be given and a certain level of hierarchy has to take place. Unfortunately, some people take that to the extreme and use their power to abuse others physically and mentally. Others within that system do not want to disrupt the chain of command or hurt the team so they stay silent.
Yet others are probably vulnerable to attack because they don't know how to deal with their superior officers. After basic training, maybe they don't have the confidence to speak out against another person especially their superior.
I'm sure it's much more than that. These and other factors can contribute to the high instances of abuse in this and other institutions such as the teaching profession.
Or you can simply believe that pedophiles become teachers to abuse kids. Soldiers become soldiers to rape women and cops become cops to shoot black people.

No. They're equally bad individual crimes. Problem is that teachers have more opportunities.
