Looked like a grown man out there.

Shades of Jordan Howard.

That is all.

He is really good. Not surprised at all after seeing play at Mortimer Jordan. I hope to see him a lot going forward.

Emmitt Smith was only 5'9
Darren Sproles is still the energizer bunny out there. He's got to be 34-35, and he's 5'6"
All of our RBs are good. Look at how many of them avg more than 5 yards per carry in each of the first two games. I don't think any of them can keep Brown off the field though.

Now we just need to get the completion percentage up for the QB and we'll be lethal.

Scat backs are all over NFL rosters today.
There are all sorts of evidence that size alone does not make the difference. "Size of dog in the fight vs size of fight in the dog", and the sign on the wall of the WEHS weight room - "A man is measured from the heart up."

It is still preferred to have BOTH good size and exceptional speed.

Emmitt ran a 4.2 forty. You can only compare Emmitt to Emmitt as a Freshman he was phoenomenel. Played Like 16 years in the league.

Call me crazy. Kalin and Spencer should be the starts. Hope, I'm wrong, with Noble and other scat penetrating.
Is Kalin still on the team?
Well, he's not totally off of the team.

What happen to Kalin.
What is going on with Donnie Lee? Is he still hurt? If he comes back, and they let him play, he could be a part of a one two punch that can grind teams into the ground. Maybe he's back at LB.

Brown and Stanley, big backs who have played RB their entire careers, have passed him on the depth chart. I imagine they are more instinctive and more comfortable with the position...
Kalin got passed on the depth chart by a couple of players & apparently had problems dealing with it.
While not off the team yet, he is not with the team currently.
Still has the opportunity to rejoin the team, but it is on him to do so & do whatever is required to rejoin the team.

Donnie Lee played a snap or two at RB on Saturday. If he works hard he could get more shared playing time.

Brown & Stanley are playing better right now, but Donnie still can make his mark.
