One of the plays I caught was the targeting penalty where he got hurt. Has to be a concussion right? Any updates?

He does appear to be highly injury prone. Him and Lurry.
I agree. He would've been incredibly productive with Santa but his future is bright without football.

You too would have been knocked out. There is a reason why that EIU player was ejected. It was a dangerous maneuver and the only intent was to deliver pain. The fact that it happened to Beebe was not his fault.

I don't recall a game with 2 targeting plays in recent memory if at all. The coach should be suspended for failing to teach his players proper tackling techniques.

I thought the Beebe targeting call was brought on because of fan pressure and that he got hurt. The officials did not throw a Flag and I believe if Chad got right up there would not have been targeting call. No one said it was his fault. I feel do to no fault of his own Beebe has suffered enough injuries and in his best interest he needs to call it a career.

Has he had a single injury which would effect his long term health before this one?
This isn't the first concussion he's ever had and science has proven that playing football effects people's future health.

They reviewed it and tossed the guy, that was good enough for me.
They reviewed it because he didn't get up! Had he just bounced right up I don't believe they would've reviewed anything

That doesn't mean they shouldn't have if he didn't. It was clear targeting. Not sure your point.
Football is a violent sport and you cant legislate that out of the game. Targeting calls could be called on every player on the field. Until they can make a helmet that keeps your brain from moving inside your skull it's all just to make people feel ok about the violence

It's about getting back to tackling, not trying to blow people up. The game owes much of its popularity to the high impact collisions. But eventually they will have to get away from that. It's going to take awhile and fans won't like it. Defenders are going to have to work on keeping their head up or going even lower on tackles.

They missed the targeting. That was about as easy of a targeting call as there is. You aren't doubting that it was targeting right?

lol
More and more coaches are teaching rugby style tackling – leading with the shoulder and getting low
If it's about safety why doesn't the offense get called for targeting? Why isn't a running back or receiver flagged and kicked out when they lower and lead with their head?
7, I have no idea what your (lol) is for. What I said about the brain and helmets is science and true.
As far as Beebe is concerned, if someone said before the season that Beebe will have a bad injury everyone would've agreed with that. Terrific kid! but needs to stop playing.
