Middle Tenn with 3 Turnovers in the First 12 Minutes
Offensive line is horrible. Even the returners are sucking this year. Stockstill only has 1.8 seconds on every play before he is hit.
Never thought the DL would be better than the OL this year.
Syracuse with NEGATIVE 26 yards in the first quarter. Defense playing well (so far).
Like to see MTSU try to get the ball downfield a little bit.

How do you figure we do that? Stockstill barely has time to get his grip on the ball before the matador offensive linemen allows the DL into the backfield.

That plus 16 carries for 19 yards will not win you many games. Thankfully only down by 4, still with a good chance to win.
It's just not meant to be. Had a TD right there on a 4th down and the receiver stumbles and falls down.
0-2 here we come (soon to be followed by 0-3).

After the way the offense (namely the OL) played the first six quarters I damn sure didn't think that would have been possible.
That said if we can get that worked out the defense isn't the 10 to 20% better that we need to contend it's about 90% better. Shafer is legit.
