vs. Kansas, we lose. And if we have to lose, I would rather lose with Poljan and/or Lazzaro. Psychologically, they have to be devastated! Bono will not only lose players, but fan base as well.
How the hell did Morris get a 4 or 5 star rating coming out of high school --- parochial inflation?

agree CE,
IF morris struggles the first half, I would bench him and be pretty hard pressed to play him again. I would have a very small amount of patience with him. He was brought here for 1 thing and that was to win games now. If he cannot deliver vs a bad fcs team and bad fbs team, lets take our lumps with poljan and get him going.

second thoughts?
I'll admit, I wasn't convinced Morris could get it done after game 1. Looks like he just had some rust to shake off. Granted the KU secondary let our receivers largely run free, but if he can play more like this every week, we'll be fine.

Yep, I was wrong. But, then again, it was Kansas. Syracuse is a different animal.

Couldn't have said it better myself, CMF. Especially the freedom the secondary gave us.
Cuse will be hungry this week. I remember last time we played them, their QB Dungey ripped us to shreds until Stanizek gave him a cheap shot. Should be an interesting game.

Completely agree, geo. The Orange play to hurt people. Our "cheap shot" was just a little reciprocation.

I think it was Nathan Ricketts that rag-dolled their qb (he graduated). I could be wrong.
It was actually Stanicek (sp?), one of our current DEs.

Well then, Mitch, rip his legs off this time!
