Glad such a major turnout for the UAB team. Hopefully they can keep it going, at least stay about 30k.

FAU, way to go.
As much as i hate to even say this, I am surprised WKU did that well. Labor Day weekend and 10 inches of rain fell the day before and flooding in areas. WKU has extremely fickle casual fans

Very impressed with UAB, so happy that the city got behind you guys. FAU , I expect a massive drop the next home game

Maybe, but just need to find a way to a get shot in there you are at the height of your program and you played an in state team and you has less than 20k.
We has 28k for a G-5 school and it shows the potential we have.

I think Navy will draw well in most coastal areas.

You made a flashing HC hire to get them there. Now you have to win to keep them coming. Hoping you guys get it done.

I was shocked that EKU didn't bring more. Their upper deck section was basically empty...
You probably won't see Marshall's attendance rise until it is more clear on what kind of season we're going to have. If we end up 3-1 OOC, you should see (just a guess) about 25-26K for the home conference opener.... 2-2 probably about the same as this week. 1-3..... 18k

Wasnt taking a shot, just figured the ( gotta see what the new coach will do crowd ) will fade off a little. FAU has plenty of potential, but you gotta find ways to win. FAU area has a mass population to pull from, but just cant keep winning...... WKU has kept winning but has about a 1/10 of the population. I said the other day that our crowd would suck since Harvey passed through Bowling Green and didnt clear out until game day.

I agree, they only brought 50-100 fans. Im sure Harvey scared many people away, nobody really knew when it was going to clear out. I have friends that made other plans because they thought it was going to be a wash out...
It was a fantastic Saturday in Birmingham. Really loved seeing all those people at the game. We've sold more season tickets than ever before (~ 10,400) so hopefully that's a sign of sustained success. If we can maintain a crowd of about 25k I'll be pleased.
24K is pretty good. It will be better this week, for sure. SEC team+ school starts Thursday.
I believe Tech's game this week vs Miss St is already sold out
Nice work UAB.

The others look pretty rough
FAU has fans that are hungry. Unfortunately, they do not perform on the field. Sad!

Nice
It will be interesting to see if MT cumulatively surpasses our week one totals over the final five home games. Getting more than 5K a game is going to be a challenge.
