I've only been to a couple games live over the past few years, but have really wondered why the Red/Black thing is done in the fourth quarter. It should be done just before kickoff to get the fans going right away. Worst case scenario---at the first time out when some more fans have settled into their seats.

I like it...Good signal for everyone who left their seats to get back.

The TV timed Red/Black chant has not worked more than it has worked the past several years. Just make it before the kickoff in the 2nd half.

It works better in the first half since half the students haven't left yet, and it makes more sense in any case to get people fired up early in the game rather than wait until it's almost over and even people on the West side have left.

I like the idea of doing it before kickoff. At least we won't be losing yet, and people will have more interest to yell.
